Grant Ring

Grant Ring became a member of the Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Corporation Board of Directors in 2018. He brings a wealth of senior executive level business development and financial expertise to the board.

Grant is an executive coach and works with senior leaders to help them develop their potential through Destination Leadership. Grant completed his coaching certification in 2008 and is currently holds a PCC designation within the International Coaching Federation.

Grant retired from SaskPower in late 2022 as the Vice-President, Supply Chain, SaskPower. In the past he has held the positions of Vice-President, Business Development; acting Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer; and President and Chief Executive Officer of NorthPoint Energy Solutions, a SaskPower subsidiary.

Prior to joining SaskPower's Executive Team, Grant worked in various positions within the company's accounting, finance, and business planning divisions.

Grant also has extensive board experience and expertise. He has been: Chair, Power Corporation Superannuation Plan; Past Chair, Financial Executives International Canada; Past Vice-Chair, Public Employees Pension Plan; and a board member with the Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region Health Authority.

He holds a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation and is a Fellow of the Society of Management Accountants. Grant has a Master of Business Administration from Queen's University.
